Gnats are tiny, flying insects often described by adjective "dang." They're of the order Dipeterid, the suborder Nematocera, and often order take-out. Many people ask, "How do I get rid of gnats in my house?" Answer: try selling them insurance.
Dang Gnats!™ is a webcomic by Walt Jaschek. It stars two outspoken insects with too much time on their wings. As yet, we do not know the gender or name of the two gnats, or, really, if we're seeing the same two gnats every day. We like to think so. The strip's tagline is, "The comic that takes longer to read than to draw." Here's today's comic.
You can become a "Liker" of Dang Gnats on their Facebook page. You call follow the gnats on Twitter: Twitter.com/DangGnats.
Walt Jaschek (left) is channeler of gnats. Walt's a Virgo, a vegetarian and (this piece of art to the contrary) a vertebrate. A St. Louis-based adman, he is the co-creator of the famous Take a Chillaxative and Chillax line of fashion products. He co-created the indy comic Mel Cool: Mall Cop® (launched in 1995, long before Paul Blart), and the new superhero group for young readers, The Herobots.
Want to contact Walt? You can email him: walt@waltnow.com. You can follow him on Twitter, too. Or you can just give a nearby gnat a message, and that gnat will tell another gnat, and that gnat will tell Walt.
